Opening Day at Casa De Lumière

Today is a special day. Casa De Lumière is officially open! 

What started as a small idea, a spark lit by a love of fragrance and slow living, has finally become real. After months of melting wax, testing blends, designing labels, writing content, and even learning how to code and set up shopping carts, our little dream has found its place online.

Casa De Lumière is more than a shop. It’s an invitation to pause, to bring calm and beauty into everyday life, and to enjoy the small rituals that make a house feel like home. Each wax melt is hand-poured here in Cheshire using a sustainable rapeseed and coconut wax blend. They’re eco-friendly, paraffin free, and made with care from start to finish.

This journey has been full of learning curves and late nights, but also moments of joy, creativity, and pride. To see the site live today feels surreal, and I’m so grateful for every bit of encouragement along the way.
