From Candlelight to a Dream in the Making

Hello there, 

and welcome to my very first blog post! Honestly, it feels a little surreal to be writing this because not too long ago, this was just a hobby, something I did to unwind after a long day. But here I am, taking the leap and turning my love for scented candles and wax melts into something more. It’s still early days, and I’m figuring things out as I go, but I’m pouring my heart into every step of the journey.

The Spark That Lit the Flame

I’ve always been obsessed with candles. There’s just something about the flickering glow and the way a scent can instantly change the feel of a room. Whether it’s the cosy warmth of vanilla on a cold evening or the fresh burst of citrus on a summer morning, candles have this amazing way of setting the mood and making a space feel like home.

Then came wax melts. I loved how you could mix and match different scents, creating your own little fragrance blends to suit your mood. Before I knew it, I was deep into experimenting, melting, pouring, tweaking, and playing around with different scent combinations just for the fun of it.

Taking the First Steps

One evening, while testing yet another lavender and vanilla blend, a thought hit me. What if I could actually do this? What if I could turn this little obsession into something real?

And that was it. That tiny spark of an idea set everything in motion.

Right now, I’m in the thick of setting everything up, testing wax blends, finding the best ingredients, and making sure every candle and melt is something I’d be proud to share. It’s been a lot of trial and error (and quite a few scent overloads), but every step gets me closer to bringing this dream to life.

The Journey Ahead

Starting something from scratch is both exciting and a little terrifying, but I love the process. My goal isn’t just to sell wax melts, it’s to create something special, something that makes people feel good when they light a wick or melt a cube of wax.

As I keep figuring things out, I’ll be sharing my journey, the wins, the challenges, the behind-the-scenes chaos, and of course, updates on my very first collection. If you’re as obsessed with home fragrance as I am, I’d love for you to be part of this adventure.
